Poker And Playing Multiple Tables Online
By http://www.mysportsbookonline.info/

Playing poker and playing multiple tables online has its advantages and disadvantages. Should you consider playing at more than one table? Unless you are a very good player, the answer is absolutely no!

Playing at multiple tables can be accomplished by resizing tables at one sight so that they fit on your monitor, or opening tables at different sites and playing them all simultaneously.

Playing at more than one table requires a tremendous amount of concentration. It is too easy to get distracted when you are playing at two, three, or possibly four tables at once. You are more likely to make a mistake at one of the tables because you are not as focused as you would be if you were playing at only one. You might make a mistake such as selecting the wrong bet or folding a hand you intended to raise.

Another problem is that it is very difficult to keep up with opponent's tendencies at more than one table. You may not even notice that a player is on tilt at one table because you're paying too much attention to another table.

Note taking can be very difficult as well.

Sometimes you just don't have the time to take notes because of time restrictions. You could actually time out at one table because you're busy taking notes on a player at a different table. How would you like to time out holding pocket aces pre-flop?

The advantage to playing at multiple tables is that you can increase your earn rate per hour, assuming you are a very good player. You will also benefit if you are familiar with your opponents and have taken notes from previous sessions. If you are familiar with all or most of the players at the tables you intend to play at, then that will make it much easier for you to play since you're already familiar with their tendencies.

Again, I would not try playing at multiple tables until you are a very good player and are consistently winning because the action is fast. If you still want to try playing at multiple tables and you're an average player, then get your feet wet by playing at lower stakes tables.
