Badugi And Triple Draw Lowball (2-7 & A-5) Rules
By http://www.mysportsbookonline.info/

Badugi is a four card version of triple draw lowball poker where you must try to have one card of each suit, and no pairs. A Badugi is when you hold four different cards of four different suits. As in Texas Hold'em or Omaha, blinds are used, with the two players to the left of the dealer paying the small and the big blind respectively. Four cards are dealt to each player, and play begins with the player left of the big blind and continues in a clockwise direction. Each succeeding player has 3 choices to make. They can fold, call the big blind bet, or raise. Once all players have acted, each player remaining can discard any number of cards in their hand from 0 to 4, and be dealt new cards. If a player draws no cards in one round they can still draw in subsequent rounds.

After the first round of betting players can check, bet or fold. If a player bets, all remaining players must call, raise, or fold before the next draw takes place. A third betting round takes place followed by a final draw. After the final draw, there is one last betting round followed by a showdown. At showdown the player with the lowest Badugi wins. A-2-3-4 of all different suits is the best possible hand. Sometimes at showdown none of the players will have a Badugi because they have a pair or they have 2 cards of the same suit. When that happens, then one card of their pair or same suit doesn't count. So the player with the best three or two card hand wins. For example, a hand of 5-6-9-K would beat A-2-3-3, and a hand of 6-7-7-8 would beat A-A-2-2.

Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball is another poker game in which the low poker hand wins the

pot at showdown (lowball). Like five-card draw, you are dealt five cards, and may discard from zero to five of them on the draw, and receive that number of replacement cards. In Triple Draw, each player has the opportunity to draw three times, though you may stand pat (not discard any cards) on any or all of the draws. In Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball, straights and flushes count against your low hand, and aces are always high. So the best possible hand is: 7, 5, 4, 3, 2.

Draw games are played with blinds. Each player is dealt five hidden hole cards. The first player after the big blind has the option to fold, call, or raise. Action continues clockwise around the table until betting is complete for the round. Once the first round of betting is complete, there is a draw. Play continues around the table clockwise with each player selecting which (if any) cards he/she wishes to discard.

After the first draw, there is another round of betting, beginning with the first active player to the left of the button.

There are two more draws with a round of betting following each one, resulting in three total draws, and four rounds of betting. The showdown occurs after the final round of betting. The player with the best five-card 2-7 hand wins the pot. Remember, the best possible hand is: 7, 5, 4, 3, 2. If two or more hands have the same value, the pot is equally split among them.

Don't forget that when playing Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball aces are always high.

Have fun and good luck!!
